7-Eleven Australia was announced as the Australian Association of Convenience Stores Major Retailer Head Office of the Year for 2022 at a gala dinner in Sydney last night.
This is the third time 7-Eleven has received the award which recognises the convenience retailer who has showed leadership in the industry, delivered excellent in-store experiences and offers for consumers, and worked collaboratively with supplier partners to enable collective success.
According to Angus McKay, 7-Eleven CEO and Managing Director, the win is fantastic recognition for the hard work of his team from the company’s supplier partners.
“We are incredibly proud be recognised by AACS and our suppliers, and are thrilled to receive this award,” Mr McKay said.
“The team do an extraordinary job to deliver an offer to our customers that is market leading. They have a relentless focus on ensuring that our stores provide exceptional standards and service, while ensuring that we continually innovate.”
“We want to really push the boundaries of what convenience can offer Australian consumers, particularly in digital and food, to deliver on our ambition to achieve a billion customer moments by 2030. Our suppliers are key partners in our work, and to receive their recognition is very special.”
“A huge thank you to all of our franchisees, store leaders, store teams and support office teams for all their hard work to achieve this milestone,” he said.
